The twin bedroom has two single beds. All linen is provided. There is also a family shower room, a fully equipped kitchen and an outside decking area with tables chairs and a barbecue.
Darleith is set within 32 acres of the private Darleith country estate it offers tranquility yet only a short drive to many local visitor attractions. Situated 2 miles from the conservation village of Cardross on the edge of the Loch Lomond National Park, which is only 20 minutes away.
The flat is ideally placed for the golf enthusiast with a multitude of golf courses within an hour's drive. Just some of these these include Cardross Golf Club, Helensburgh Golf Club, Dumbarton Golf Club, Vale of Leven Golf Club, The Carrick, Buchanan Castle Golf Club, Strathendrick Golf Club, Clydebank Golf Club, Windyhill Golf Club, Douglas Park Golf Club, Milngavie Golf Club, Clober Golf Club, Hilton Park Golf Cub, Balmore Golf Club, Aberfoyle Golf Club and Campsie Golf Club. Scotland is golfing country and as you would expect, there are many more courses within a couple of hour's drive. Ben Lomond, Scotland's furthest south Munro (over 3,000 feet) is a short drive away at Rowardennan and Oban and Fort William are amongst many places within reach for an enjoyable day out. Helensburgh is just six miles way which gives you access to the West Highland Line to transport you to Fort William. Hill House one of Charles Rennie MacKintosh’s greatest creations sits at the top of Helensburgh. The Waverley, Britain’s last ocean-going paddle-steamer, sails from Helensburgh to the Kyles of Bute during the summer. Cardross, Helensburgh and Balloch offer a selection of great restaurants and pubs with live entertainment.
Dumbarton, with its historic castle is also just six miles away. Dumbarton Castle is a Historic Scotland Property. The town was once a shipbuilding centre and it is also home to the Denny Ship Model Experimental Tank, a museum, which is affiliated to the Scottish Maritime Museum.
